This position creates and carries out a monthly calendar of activities based on the residents wants and needs. This individual will also create plans of care that centers on resident interests that can be done individually. Directly supervises and assistant and volunteers in the Activities Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
