*Overview:*
*Audiologist / Hearing Professional:*
The _Audiologist _is a Full-Time position that will drive our patient experience through the assessment and identification, management and treatment, and prevention and education of hearing, balance, and most ear-related conditions with a primary focus on, but certainly not limited to, an industry leading approach to the treatment of hearing loss and dispensing of prescription hearing aids including service appointments like hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and repairs.
This individual will help build and retain our patient base and increase hearing aid adoption and satisfaction.
*Job Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Evaluate and treat hearing loss and other hearing-related conditions
* Produce diagnostic evaluation and analysis of auditory and vestibular procedures; produce notation and documentation for referring physicians and insurance providers
* Provide outstanding patient experience
* Fit hearing aids and assist with adjustments, questions, or concerns
* Clean & repair hearing aids, make earmolds, and order products
* Familiar with _Best Practices_ including Real Ear Measurement
* Support patient tech inquiries including pairing hearing aids to smart phones, TV adaptors, and other intermediary devices
* Conduct teleaudiology appointments
* Provide instruction for hearing aid care and use to patients
* Conduct post-fitting orientations and warranty checks
* Maintain equipment
* Understanding of patient check in / check out processes
* Maintain patient files with complete outcome notes
*Requirements:*
* Active or ability to obtain NYS Hearing Aid Dispenser license (_all future fees provided by practice_)
* Au.D.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hearing aid manufacturer software
*Qualifications:*
* 2-3 years experience in providing hearing care services
* 2+ years customer service experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
