Korean-speaking Customer Service Representative

2020 Companies, in partnership with Samsung Electronics America, is hiring a full-time Korean-speaking Customer Service Representative

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Pay: $30.00 + per hour based on experience

Location: On-site in Englewood Cliffs, NJ office

In this role, you'll be the go-to for Korean-speaking customers, ensuring clear and smooth communication. You'll bridge the language gap and provide exceptional service, resolving their concerns efficiently.

  • Break Down Language Barriers: Fluently converse with Korean-speaking customers, understanding their needs and effectively conveying solutions.
  • Champion Customer Satisfaction: Actively listen to customer concerns, following internal processes to ensure all claims are handled accurately and promptly.
  • Be a Problem-Solving Pro: Work collaboratively with customers to resolve issues and ensure a positive experience.

Job Description: Duties & Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Representative will handle calls for customers who want to communicate in Korean language.
  • Ability to work with customers to understand their issues and provide support. This can be answering questions or troubleshooting issues utilizing guides and other online support material.
  • Ability to work with a broader team as needed to obtain guidance for handling issues requiring specific expertise.
  • Proactively manage customer complaints and offer satisfactory solutions guided by policy and guidelines.
  • Registering international products in the system for efficient warranty claim processing.
  • Guiding customers through the repair setup for non-international products based on HQ guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in Korean/English - able to read, write, speak, and work on a professional level in Korean and English
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Preferred 3+ year of experience as a customer service representative
  • Analytical skills with problem-solving abilities
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent organization skills; able to prioritize tasks independently w/ minimal supervision; has great follow up skills
  • A team player, self-driven. flexible, dedicated individual
  • 3+ years of experience handling customer service claims
