Job Summary:
Responsibilities include: Operates medical imaging equipment that directs high frequency sound waves to anatomy for diagnostic purposes. Consistently obtain high quality imaging for Cardiologist interpretation. General understanding of Synapse Echocardiography computerized system and its function. Utilizes the Synapse Echocardiography system to write preliminary reports for the Cardiologist to review and edit as necessary for the final report. Documents patient care services in hospital electronic medical records. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Able to interact compassionately and effectively to provide quality patient care. Supports and promotes the values and mission of the organization. Courteous interaction with co-workers/peers.
Requirements:
Certification: BLS within 30 days of hire
Registration: Appropriate credential in echocardiography (must have one of the following):
1. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
2. Registered Cardiac Sonographer from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
3. Currently actively pursuing education or on the job training in the field of cardiac echo sonography with the intention of achieving registration within 2 years of hire.

Comp Range:
$33.43 - $50.15Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. At the time of an offer, determination of your offer will reflect your skills and experience as it relates to the position.
