Job Description:

Alina Telehealth is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist with an active New York medical license for a flexible telehealth position providing ECHO, EKG reading, and pager call coverage . This remote opportunity allows you to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care while maintaining meaningful clinical engagement from anywhere.

Position Details

Role Type: Telehealth (Remote)

Location: New York (License Required)

Schedule:

• 7 days per month (24-hour pager call coverage)
• ECHO and EKG reading coverage as assigned
• Providers are notified 30 days in advance of coverage dates
• EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

ECHO Reading:

• Review and interpret echocardiograms per month .
• Provide final reports within a 24-hour turnaround .

EKG Reading:

• Interpret EKGs and provide timely documentation.

Pager Call Coverage:

• Respond to floor consults, ER calls, and internist inquiries regarding current patient conditions.
• Provide cardiology input and recommendations via phone.
• Maintain a 30-minute response time for all incoming calls.

Additional Duties:

• Document all consults and interpretations in the EMR (Meditech).
• Collaborate with onsite clinical teams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York medical license .
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
• Experience in ECHO and EKG interpretation, and telehealth consults preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
