About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) to take on a pivotal leadership role in the strategic development and execution of a nursing informatics strategy. The successful candidate will be a senior nursing informatics executive, responsible for partnering with leaders across various clinical and operational domains to enhance clinician effectiveness, efficiency, and experience. This includes serving as a strategic liaison to identify and implement informatics solutions that advance clinical practice, improve patient outcomes, and optimize the clinician experience. The CNIO will also lead a team of informaticists, collaborate with Chief Medical Informatics Officers, and ensure that informatics strategies are integrated, standardized, and scalable. Key priorities for the CNIO at the company include developing and implementing a system-wide nursing informatics strategy, leading initiatives to optimize virtual nursing programs, and driving the adoption of workflow efficiency tools. The ideal candidate will be a confident, adaptable leader with emotional intelligence and strong political acumen, capable of quickly building rapport and navigating complex organizational dynamics. Experience in leading nursing informatics in a large, complex, matrixed health system is essential, as is a proven track record in developing, scaling, and sustaining successful informatics programs. The CNIO will play a critical role in shaping the future of informatics, impacting clinicians, patients, and the broader healthcare experience.
