Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

Specifically,TheCloud Engineerwillperformor provide support to:

• Integration ofthecustomer’snative cloud infrastructure withcommunitycloud Infrastructure as aService (IaaS) capability. Whilethe community is AWS-based, other cloud infrastructureswill beencounteredin this activity.

• Delivering and managingcustomerspecific IaaS tousers to provision processing, storage, networks, and other fundamental computing resources, allowingusersto deploy and run mission specific software, including operating systems and applications. These services include systems database and account administration tooperate, maintain, and sustain the enterprise shared applications and infrastructure services

• Managing and controlling cloud infrastructure including network, servers, operating systems, storage, and platform software and services.

• Providing mission system services, administration, and management support for both traditional systems and systems that exist within or use virtual and cloud services hosted by other agencies and external cloud service providers in support ofthe customermission.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Work schedule: “Normal work hours” constitute on average 8 hours a day,40 hoursper week (excluding breaks and meal periods) within standard operational hours occurring 0600-1800, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
