Conflicts Analyst Newark, NJ | Law Firm A leading law firm is seeking a detail?oriented Conflicts Analyst to join its New Business Intake Department in the Newark, NJ office. This full?time, on?site role is a great opportunity for a professional with experience in legal conflicts analysis, data management, and risk mitigation. Position Overview: The Conflicts Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the firms compliance and risk management practices by conducting thorough conflict of interest checks, managing intake procedures, and maintaining accurate data records. The position reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and administrative staff. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research and analysis of potential conflicts of interest for new clients and matters Review new business intake forms and ensure proper documentation Perform data entry, database management, filing, scanning, and document retrieval Provide responsive support to attorneys and staff regarding conflict checks and client/matter status Ensure adherence to firm policies and legal ethics guidelines before new clients are opened Assist in improving intake processes, procedures, and technologies Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all aspects of the role Qualifications: Prior experience in conflicts analysis, legal intake, or related law firm operations Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage high?volume workloads efficiently Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Access); familiarity with Intapp Conflicts and Aderant is preferred Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when necessary Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full?time Job function: Legal and Analyst Industries: Law Practice Benefits: Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Pay range information Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr This range is provided by The Goodkind Group, LLC.
