Your Role:

This Commercial Service Representative position involves working in a high energy, dynamic, and rewarding team environment focused on delivering best-in-class customer support. This individual will be responsible for ensuring each transaction is processed within MilliporeSigma guidelines, values and customer specifications.

As a Commercial Service Representative this individual will be required to learn and master a number of different skill sets. You will respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues quickly. Enter internal and external customer orders and quotations received via various sales channels. There will be occasions where you will solve situations related to orders, shipments or other customer related matters.

The Commercial Service Rep will need to research and maintain customer account information within the appropriate system. They will also investigate, process and record lost or damaged orders, non-product complaints, credit and/or rebill requests.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of working experience in customer service in any industry
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or higher education is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Oracle system, Excel, Salesforce, SAP and PC applications a plus.
  • Strong knowledge around Millipore's organizational structure, business practices and customer base.
  • Act as a role model of MilliporeSigma's values and best-in-class business practices.
  • Able to meet the challenges of a fast-paced, high-energy environment, while maintaining a strong level of professionalism.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and written skills, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent listening and telephone communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and organized, with attention to prioritizing incoming tasks.

  • Prior experience working with customers over the phone


Pay Range for this position: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
