Description
- Processing packing slips emailed from vendors (primarily Border States Electric).
- Comparing packing slips to purchase orders (POs).
- Troubleshooting discrepancies with planner buyers, vendors, and field teams.
- Later responsibilities may include work order transfers and more complex receiving tasks.
- Opening emails from vendors with packing slips.
- Entering receipts into SAP.
- Handling high-volume data entry (600-1,000+ lines/day team average).
- Communicating with planner buyers, vendors, and field employees for issues.
- Occasional slow days, but generally consistent incoming volume.
- Frequent interaction with ~50-60 planner buyers, field engineers (CMOs), and vendor Border States Electric.
Qualifications
- Ideally 2-5 years in supply chain, receiving, AP, payroll data entry, or similar.
- Collaborative, supportive, and flexible.
- SAP experience (at least basic).
- Fast and accurate typing / 10-key by touch.
- Microsoft Outlook (email-heavy role).
- Microsoft Excel (working from spreadsheets).
- General supply chain or receiving background.
- High attention to detail / accuracy.
- Ability to work in high-volume, repetitive environments.
- Strong communication & email etiquette.
- Ability to troubleshoot and interact with various departments.
- Customer service mindset.
- Must be comfortable with repetitive, high-volume office work.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
