Job Description
We’re looking for a dedicated, student-centered ESL Teacher in the Greenfield, MA area to join a collaborative team in a vibrant public school setting. Responsibilities:
Design and implement lesson plans addressing the diverse needs of ESL students, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening
Provide instruction in English language skills, including vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversation
Use differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate students at varying proficiency levels and learning styles
Collaborate with subject-area teachers to support ESL students’ understanding of content across subjects
Offer additional academic support to students struggling with language or specific subject content
Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and strategies to support learning at home
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related field
ESL endorsement on teaching license
Highly proficient in English, including grammar, writing, reading, listening, and speaking
Bilingualism or multilingualism is an asset but not required
