Job Title: EVS Aide - Laguna Beach
Job Description

As an EVS Aide, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within a hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include cleaning patient rooms after discharge, ensuring bathrooms are sanitary, and performing specialized floor care such as stripping, buffing, and waxing.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient rooms, including trash removal, linen cleaning, and floor mopping.
• Conduct laundry duties as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses and other hospital staff in a clinical environment.
• Handle biohazardous materials safely and effectively.
• Clean common areas such as lobbies, elevators, and hallways.
• Read and complete work orders for tasks such as trash removal or spill cleanup.

• Experience in janitorial duties and housekeeping.
• Proficiency in cleaning and sanitizing practices.
• Ability to perform custodial tasks including mopping, sweeping, and buffing.
• English speaking skills are essential.

• One year of high-volume experience in environments such as hospitals, hotels, schools, offices, or amusement parks is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.

Work Environment

The position operates on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, including weekends. The work environment involves collaboration with medical staff and requires comfort in dealing with hospital-related tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mission Viejo, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
