The Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The Executive Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee banquet kitchen operatio ns, manage staff, and ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of culinary techniques, and the ability to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment. Minimum two years of Banquet Kitchen leadership experience required!!

**Primary Responsibilities: **

- Assist the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food production, and quality control. - Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure a high level of performance and professional development. - Oversee daily food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. - Collaborate on menu design and specials, taking into account seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. - Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of food products. - Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning. - Handle staff scheduling to optimize productivity while ensuring coverage during peak times. - Assist in maintaining food cost controls and budget management. - Foster a positive and productive kitchen culture, promoting teamwork and mutual respect among kitchen staff. - Participate in the creation and execution of special events, catering, and off-site functions as needed. - Stay current on culinary trends, techniques, and industry standards, continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve kitchen operations.
