Our firm is seeking a candidate that has experience in accounting, financial analysis, billing, and/or bookkeeping. The candidate we are seeking for this position is organized, professional, responsible, capable of working with limited supervision, and committed to helping us meet all our clients' needs. This person must be a team player and be self-motivated, and able to keep up with a fast pace . Salary will be dependent on experience and education. The candidate must be fully fluent in Spanish and English.

Required Education and Experience

Must check off one of the following two:

1. Degree in finance/accounting; or
2. Previous experience working at a bank or other accounting-type position for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Communicating with Opposing Counsel, Insurance Companies, and Health Providers;
• Verifying the total medical bills post-settlement;
• Obtaining final liens and reducing them if need be;
• Drafting disbursal documents and disbursing clients;
• Sending final closing documents to Adjusters/Opposing Counsel;
• Providing exceptional customer service;
• Inputting information into the firm’s case software management, word documents, and Excel;
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Required: Bilingual in Spanish and English (Applicants will be screened prior to an interview. Must be fully fluent in Spanish and English.)
• Preferred: Previous administrative or other professional office experience
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic individual
• Someone who can provide excellent customer service skills
• Someone who is reliable and trustworthy
• Has own transportation
• Able to meet deadlines

Compensation:

$40,000.00 to $50,000.00 depending on education and experience
