Job Description

SCORE is seeking a Fundraising & Development Volunteer to help our chapter raise funds to support local workshops, community outreach, and educational activities. This role is perfect for someone with experience in fundraising, donor engagement, or nonprofit development who wants to make a direct impact by helping us expand our services to small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies for the chapter
• Identify and cultivate potential donors, sponsors, and community partners and secure the sponsorship
• Assist with grant research and simple grant applications (if experienced)
• Support fundraising campaigns, events, and donor communications
• Work closely with the Chapter Leadership Team to set fundraising goals and track progress

Desired Skills & Experience

• Background in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit development, or business sponsorships
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Organized and detail-oriented with follow-through on commitments
• Previous nonprofit fundraising experience preferred but not required
