Job Summary: Fantastic Sams in Lakeland, Tennessee is seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist at Fantastic Sams, you will provide exceptional hair services to our customers while maintaining a professional and friendly attitude. This is a full-time individual contributor role in the hair industry, with a compensation of $17 to $25 per hour, paid biweekly. Flexible Schedule! Responsibilities:

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide consultation services to determine the appropriate hairstyle for customers
• Perform various hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments
• Educate customers on proper hair care and products to maintain their new style
• Clean and maintain workstations and tools to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Keep up with industry trends and techniques to continue providing high-quality services to customers
• Build and maintain a loyal customer base through excellent customer service and exceptional hair services
• Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid cosmetology license in the state of Tennessee
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon setting
• Knowledge of current hairstyle trends and techniques
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
