The HIM Technician also provides telephone back‑up as needed. Education and Training High School diploma or its equivalent with specialized training in an approved business, secretarial school or college. Prefer specialized training in an approved Health Information Management Program. Experience Previous medical record experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
