Medical Biller – ENT Specialty Focus

Location: Hybrid – Skokie, IL (Remote flexibility based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Company Description

Currence Physician Solutions, a subsidiary of ENT Partners, LLC, is more than a billing company - we are a trusted partner to specialty practices nationwide. For over 40 years, we’ve helped physicians achieve stronger financial performance through best-in-class billing, coding, and collections services.

ENT Partners provides administrative and operational support so physicians can focus on delivering world-class ENT, Allergy, Audiology, and Sleep Medicine care. With more than 25 practice sites across the Midwest and East Coast, we are proud to drive growth and stability for providers and patients alike.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Medical Biller with an ENT specialty focus to join our team at Currence. This role is the financial heartbeat of our revenue cycle operation: ensuring claims are submitted cleanly, payments are posted accurately, and denials are resolved with persistence and precision.

The ideal candidate is detail-driven, solutions-focused, and thrives on making sure providers are paid for the care they deliver. If you have the curiosity to problem-solve, the persistence to tackle denials, and the professionalism to represent our practices with payers and patients, this is your opportunity to grow in a national platform that values excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit clean electronic and paper claims for ENT, Allergy, Audiology, and Sleep Medicine services.
  • Review claims for accuracy and compliance with payer requirements before submission.
  • Post payments and adjustments promptly; reconcile balances to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Investigate denied or unpaid claims, submit appeals, and follow through until resolution.
  • Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, providers, and patients regarding billing inquiries.
  • Proactively monitor A/R aging reports and prioritize high-value or at-risk claims.
  • Stay informed on payer rules, reimbursement policies, and industry changes.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare or revenue cycle environment (ENT billing strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing systems (ECW, Epic, or AdvancedMD experience a plus).
  • Strong understanding of payer claim submission, denial management, and EOB reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, patient-focused demeanor.
  • Ability to balance speed with accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
  • Team player who can also work independently in a hybrid/remote environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Benefits include:
    • 401(k) with company match
    • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
    • Paid time off and holidays
    • Employee referral program
    • Hybrid/Remote flexibility

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a national ENT platform recognized for financial and operational excellence.
  • Develop specialty billing expertise that sets you apart in the industry.
  • Work with a supportive team and strong leadership that values growth and accountability.
  • Gain exposure to multi-practice operations and expand your career potential.
  • Know that your work directly impacts both provider success and patient access to care.

ENT Partners is a drug-free workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
