Position Title Millwork Sales Specialist - Doors & Windows Company Andersen Drive Building Supply (Rafael Lumber) Pay Range $60,000-$80,000 per year Employment Type Full-Time Industry Lumber and Building Supply Retail Store (Residential, Commercial) Location San Rafael, CA Job Overview Rafael Lumber is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Millwork Sales Specialist - Doors & Windows to join our Sales & Client Relations team. If you have experience helping contractors and homeowners choose the right door and window solutionsand love working in a fast-paced retail and contractor sales environmentthis is your chance to thrive in a key role at Marin County's most complete building supply company. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting the right doors and windows for their specific job applications. Prepare and follow up on quotes, estimates, and special orders. Process door and window sales through the POS system accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with the receiving department to ensure proper fulfillment and pickup of orders. Handle order discrepancies, resolve issues, and facilitate returns when needed. Maintain customer relationships through clear communication and reliable service. Meet with vendor reps to stay current on product offerings and solutions. Organize, label, and maintain the door/window warehouse area. Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions. Perform filing, inventory tracking, and other administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in door and window sales, preferably in a retail or contractor supply environment. Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial door and window products. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously. Self-motivated, with a professional demeanor and attention to detail. Experience in the construction or building materials industry is a plus. Basic computer skills (POS systems, email, quoting tools).
