Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong background in pet care, grooming, and customer service. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires excellent animal handling skills and the ability to work effectively with both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling of various breeds of dogs and other pets.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals during grooming sessions through proper handling and restraint techniques.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations based on the pet's needs.
• Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area, including cleaning tools and equipment after each use.
• Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to pet owners or veterinary staff as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have about their pets' grooming needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in pet grooming is required.
• Experience in dog training, veterinary technician or assistant roles, equine experience, or general animal handling is a plus.
• Strong skills in animal restraint and care are essential to ensure the safety of both pets and staff.
• Customer service experience is highly valued as it contributes to building lasting relationships with clients.

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Pay: Commission-based plus Tips or $20.00 - $25.00 per hour plus Tips
