Job Title: Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead and oversee all aspects of nursing practice across our healthcare system. The CNO will play a critical role in ensuring clinical excellence, nursing staff development, and patient safety. This individual will collaborate closely with executive leadership to align nursing goals with the organization's mission and overall patient care strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the nursing division.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, training, and performance of nursing personnel.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and operational policies.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and department heads to promote interprofessional care.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes, staff engagement, and safety culture.
• Serve as a mentor and advocate for nursing leadership development and succession planning.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (DNP or PhD preferred).
• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of clinical operations, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
