The Opportunity:
The Production & Studio Services team at Netflix delivers comprehensive physical production solutions to enable and elevate promotional, marketing, social, and internal content. We do this by developing scalable services, systems, and workflows, while driving innovation through creative technology. We also manage essential resources, including labor and vendor solutions, internal studios, and production equipment.

In this role you will be supporting day-to-day production operations while also developing solutions to enhance our workflows and services. The ideal candidate is a technical producer with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for operations. They are equally interested in working towards big picture goals and actively engaging in detailed project work. This candidate is a builder and innovator who is driven by data, and inclined to map complex workflows that bring efficiency to the physical production process. They excel at problem-solving and adapt quickly to changing timelines and goals. With a high level of curiosity, they ask insightful questions to navigate ambiguity to find lasting solutions. They communicate effectively across the production spectrum-from creative producers and technical crew to operational staff and external vendors-focusing on what matters most to each audience. Proactive and improvement-oriented, they consistently seek opportunities for action and long term solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage productions throughout the project lifecycle to ensure consistency and quality, while fostering positive experiences with collaborators and crew
  • Skillfully balance creative needs with budgetary and logistical considerations when deploying services, equipment, and location orders
  • Make data informed recommendations to identify opportunities to elevate how we approach physical production shoots
  • Support the development and deployment of new scalable production services and pipelines that deliver creative excellence and efficiency across the business
  • Champion best practices across our production and technical workflows, and support the documentation, training, and associated materials for teams, internal and external.
  • Foster a diverse roster of crew and production vendors, keeping our core mission of inclusivity top of mind in how we approach the work
  • Partner with the rest of the Production & Studio Services team to develop processes and systems that ensure we're able to execute at the highest level across focus areas
  • Support the supervision of managed vendor partnerships on a project level and from an operational perspective
  • Support the development of tools that power production intake, routing, and project management

Qualifications:

  • Physical Production Management: 7+ years line production, production management, producer experience. Deep understanding of end-to-end shoot production.
  • Client Services: 7+ years in a client services role, directly liaising with stakeholders and managing project expectations through intake, budgeting, execution, and wrap. Experience developing and managing project budgets and bids
  • Technical Production: Understanding of the end-to-end workflows from prep and capture through asset delivery. Working understanding of camera, lighting, and grip technology.
  • Project Management: 5+ years project managing, with a demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with creative and business objectives. Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously and motivate change with collaborators
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Bias to Action: Self motivated and able to work autonomously. Proactive about building solutions and improvements.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $140,000 - $183,667.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
