Airport Security Officer - Traffic Patrol

As an Airport Security Officer - Traffic Patrol in Kahului, HI, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or local authorities as required.
  • Support site operations by assisting with directions, information, and general inquiries from employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any unusual or security-related activities promptly.
Minimum Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
