Job Description - Perform independent validation of financial models, ensuring they meet regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Analyze model performance and identify potential risks, proposing improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and model applications.
- Document findings and prepare detailed validation reports for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in model risk management.
- Support audits and regulatory examinations related to model validation processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on model validation techniques.
- Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical audiences effectively.

The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Model Validation professional should have:
- Strong academic background in mathematics, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in statistical and financial modeling techniques.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
