We hope to help you do the best work of your career with us. What you’ll do You’ll work primarily on Shopify stores, converting designs to concise, readable code. The majority of your tasks will involve building Shopify blocks, sections, and full themes. The work you produce at Prismfly will be responsive, harmonious, and beautiful. Note: This is an evergreen position. MUST-HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS Expert understanding of DOM, CSS3 and HTML5 Strong experience converting Figma files to near pixel-perfect code Strong experience in JavaScript/ES6 Experience customizing Shopify themes Understanding of Shopify's Liquid Template language Familiarity with Shopify APIs Great attention to detail (Our developers thoroughly QA their own work before handoff) Git/GitHub proficiency CULTURE FIT Clear and concise communication Great attention to and consideration of detail Positive, respectful, and friendly attitude Problem solver with a mindset that anything is possible Punctual with calls and due dates Background working in a team environment and reporting to a lead developer. Ability to work 9am to 5pm CST Fluent English, both spoken & written, without translation tools IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE Shopify Theme build experience Shopify app development experience Site speed/performance improvement experience Familiarity with Slack and Asana Enthusiasm for front-end development and building We are a Linux-friendly company.
