Join to apply for the Support Associate II role at CGI Position Description CGI Federal is seeking experienced Support Associates to support the New Orleans Passport Agency. Ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills, experience in customer-facing roles, and the ability to work effectively in a team within a fast-paced environment. Due to government contract and clearance requirements, US Citizenship is mandatory. The role requires frequent lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs, and long hours of standing, with the expectation to stand and walk throughout the shift. Your future duties and responsibilities include: Operate equipment for high-speed scanning, mailing, and metering. Prepare and mail envelopes with passports and supporting documents. Archive files for storage. Interface with passport applicants at counters: Ensure appointment scheduling at the Information Station. Review applications and documents for completeness and compliance. Print and review passport books for accuracy. Process refund and reimbursement requests. Manage credit card payments and distribute to the Cashier’s Office. Assist with Acceptance Agent training and maintain electronic records. Contact applicants for missing documents and resolve undeliverable mail issues. Generate correspondence to resolve application discrepancies, following DOS Passport guidance. Required qualifications include: Ability to follow specific procedures for clerical tasks. HS diploma or GED. At least three years of office experience. Two years of experience with Microsoft Office. High accuracy in tasks. Ability to work stationary and maintain security awareness. US citizenship and ability to obtain MRPT clearance. Desired qualifications: Knowledge of the TDIS system and passport quality standards. Compensation is $18.50/hour, with benefits including share purchase plans, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, and health benefits.
