HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a travel job in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Job Description & Requirements

• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Travel - Lab Tech - Laboratory (736) - nights

St. Marks Hospital UT

Shift: 8:30PM to 7:00AM 7 on and 7 off. On Call is not required but can be offered if the traveler would like to be on call. 
Unit: Laboratory/Blood Bank and Hemo 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· MLS or MLT certification from ASCP or equivalent. Bachelors or Associates in Medical Laboratory Science.

 

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Verifiable schooling and certification

· At least 3 years’ experience as a MLS or MLT

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Familiarity with instruments listed above except for MicroScan

· Great than 5 years of experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

· Medical Laboratory testing including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and some Microbiology 

· Some specimen processing as the night progresses to cover for lunches.
