Job Title: Warehouse Jam Clearer

Job Description

As a Warehouse Jam Clearer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of the warehouse by clearing jams on conveyors and in nets that catch packages. You will also be responsible for conducting area walks to ensure there are no jams and performing 5S duties to maintain a clean and organized work area. Your role will include coordinating and ordering parts and collaborating with the maintenance team on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Clear jams on conveyors and in nets that catch packages.

• Conduct area walks to ensure there are no jams.

• Perform 5S duties to maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Coordinate and order parts as needed.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team on projects.

• Be comfortable with walking 3-5 miles a day.

Essential Skills

• Experience with picking and packing.

• Forklift operation skills.

• Proficiency with scanners.

• Machine operation knowledge.

• Ability to use hand and power tools.

• Understanding of blueprints.

• Mechanical assembly skills.

• Pallet jack operation experience.

• Troubleshooting capabilities.

• Experience in production and inventory management.

This is a Contract position based out of Erlanger, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
