Gundersen Health System Office Assistant

Gundersen Health System is looking for a detail-oriented and organized office assistant to support our inpatient rehab and general medicine department. In this essential role, you will help ensure smooth operations by ordering supplies, maintaining conference room calendars, and coordinating food for various events. What's available:

• 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week), four 9 hour shifts a week with one day off
• Shift: Monday-Friday, day shifts
• Hours: Between 7 AM-4:30PM (varies on department needs)
• Department: Inpatient rehab and general medicine
• Location: On-site, La Crosse, WI

What you will do:

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients through providing the best first/last impressions with top-level customer service
• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys
• Work to support patients and coworkers to problem solve, answering questions, coordinating services, and address other needs via phone, email, and in-person
• Providing a variety of clerical support and responsibilities

What you need:

• High school diploma or equivalency
• No experience required. Clerical or office work experience is a plus!
• Good phone skills and scheduling experience is a plus!
