Our NDT team works daily on some of Northrop Grumman's most technologically advanced products at our Maritime/Land Systems & Sensors Division. What you will get to do: Set-up and conduct non-destructive tests to include Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic and Radiographic methods to determine acceptability. Establish testing procedures and methods, such as shooting sketches. Monitor manufacturing processes and operations, conduct tests and inspections to assure compliance. Weld visual inspection experience required. Train and certify Level II NDT Inspectors. This position may specialize in the areas of design, product evaluation, metrology and/ or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. Some travel may be required. Basic Qualifications for the Principal NDT Engineer:...collaborate with other engineers, and contribute to innovative solutions in height control systems.
