Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position seeks a Dyslexia Interventionist to support K-12 students, primarily in elementary and middle school age groups, within a Round Rock, TX area school. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in dyslexia and a strong background in special education, with a focus on reading intervention. Fluency in Spanish is preferred to support bilingual learners, enhancing communication and instructional effectiveness.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering targeted dyslexia interventions to students using evidence-based reading strategies
  • Collaborating with special education teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
  • Providing support to both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking students as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of interventions and student outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Reading by Design is required
  • Experience working with students diagnosed with dyslexia or other reading difficulties
  • Bilingual Spanish skills highly preferred but not mandatory
  • Background in special education or related teaching experience
