ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona.

\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch
\n• Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per 4-week schedule)
\n• Holiday requirement for Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving (work 2 days and 1 evening or 2 evenings and 1 day)
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5 on 48-bed telemetry unit (4A and 4B)
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• One shift of unit orientation provided
\n• Cerner charting system experience recommended
\n• Must have experience reading basic telemetry strips and interpreting strips at least once per shift
\n• Experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA preferred
\n• Care for patients with COVID, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
\n• May be required to float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified
\n• First to float designation
\n• Self-scheduling used with manager approval for 4-week schedules
\n• No call or standby requirements
\n• No drip titration required

\nThis regional medical center operates a comprehensive telemetry and surgical/neuro unit providing acute care services. The facility features a 48-bed unit with remote telemetry monitoring, dedicated monitor technicians, and respiratory therapy support including BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow equipment. The organization maintains charge nurses who do not take patient assignments and employs nurse aides to support patient care with appropriate ratios.
